Over a thousand young people gathered at the 2026 Băcăuani Orthodox Youth Meetingtranslated

More than 1,000 young people from Bacău county participated on Thursday in the Meeting of the Young Orthodox Bacău (ITOB) 2026, an event dedicated to formation, communion and the promotion of Christian and ethical values among the young generation.

The meeting began with the Holy Liturgy celebrated in two important churches in the city of Bacău: at the Youth Church, where the service was officiated by Vicar Bishop Teofil Trotușanul of the Roman and Bacău Archdiocese, and at the Precise Church, where the service was officiated by Archim. Nicolae Dănilă, exarch of monasteries and hermitages in the diocese.
