Over 600 children from a locality in the Republic of Moldova received gifts from Metropolitan Antonietranslated

More than 600 children from Peresecina, Republic of Moldova, received gifts from Metropolitan Antonie of Bessarabia on Thursday.

The social-philanthropic action took place at Kindergarten no. 2 "Albinuța" and at Grădinita no. 3 "Mugurașii" and in the primary classes of the local high school.

The gifts were offered by Father Sergiu Matei, Archpriest of Orhei and parish priest of the "Saint Hierarch Nicolae" Church in Peresecina.

On the occasion of the visit, His Holiness Father Antonie thanked the educators for the care they show towards the children and the responsibility with which they accompany them in their formation.

The initiative is part of the constant concern of "Saint Hierarch Nicolae" Parish to support vulnerable children and families. Through these actions, the community maintains a close collaboration with the local educational institutions.

As part of the action in Peresecina, the Metropolitan of Bessarabia visited the parish church in the locality, where he followed the stage of the beautification works of the place of worship.
