Pilgrimage from Iași: Vigil with Night Liturgy is held at the Metropolitan Cathedral (LIVE)translated

A special and very beautiful ceremony takes place during the pilgrimage from Iași on Tuesday evening, on the eve of the feast of St. Parascheva. At the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Vigil with Night Liturgy is celebrated.

At 9:00 p.m., the Vespers begins with the Litany, after which Matins and the Holy Night Liturgy will follow.

The liturgical program ends around 03:00 and, being audio-streamed outside the cathedral as well, will be a comfort to the pilgrims who flock to venerate the saint's reliquary even at night and in the rain.

The event is broadcast Live by Doxologia on Facebook and YouTube, and can also be followed directly on the Facebook page of the Basilica News Agency.

The pilgrimage from Iași will continue until Thursday, October 15, 2026, the culminating moment being the Liturgy of the patron saint on Wednesday morning, at which 24 hierarchs announced their presence.
