Blessed Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, sent a message of blessing for students and academic staff on Thursday, on the occasion of the imminent start of the academic year 2026-2027.

"The development of one's own identity, the establishment and support of the Christian family, the birth and upbringing of children in the love of perennial values, the education of young people in the spirit of the Christian faith are priorities and responsibilities for the Family, the Church and the School", the Patriarch of Romania conveys.

"These aspects highlight the importance of achieving an integrative education, for the professional and spiritual training of young people, with a view to their participation in the life of the Church and Romanian society."
