Patriarch Daniel: The Holy Couples and Mothers Show Us That Family Life Can Be a Path of Sanctificationtranslated

The Most Holy Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, participated on Monday in the opening of the pastoral-missionary bi-annual autumn conference for clergy from the Bucharest Archdiocese, where he delivered a message emphasizing the importance of holy women in family life.
"In a society where human relationships are often affected by haste, loneliness, and uncertainty, the family needs encouragement, guidance, and concrete help. And women who strive in the family, in the parish community, or in the monastic community and in society are happy when their efforts are recognized and supported."
The Patriarch of Romania highlighted the importance of prayer in the family and mutual support, offering four examples of women who had a holy life.
"The holy couples and mothers show us that family life can be a path of sanctification. Care for those at home, patience in sickness, fidelity in trials, and the effort to preserve marital peace have great spiritual value when they are fulfilled in the love of Christ," His Holiness transmitted.
