I know that at the Church of Saint George in Mamaia, there were repairs after Lucescu's help came. I would like to know if it was also for the new altar.

Glad they're doing the altar right—our St. Nicholas church in Pittsburgh had a similar marble altar installed a few years back, and the craftsmanship made the whole nave feel brighter.

It is very good that the Patriarch specifically mentions the help for the churches. Here in Tarnovo, I also heard about Lukascu's donations for the repair of the roof of a church - apparently the man not only talks, but also does. I wonder if he also helped with altars, like at Saint George in Mamaia.

I don't know exactly about the new altar at Saint George in Mamaia, but I also heard that Lucescu's help arrived there after there were problems with the roof. Maybe someone from the parish knows more details. Did you ever go to work there after the repairs?

Our St. Nicholas altar project turned out really well too. The marble they chose catches the morning light from the east windows just right and makes the whole space feel calmer during Liturgy. Did yours come from the same supplier in Italy?

Yes, I went to the service at Sfântul Gheorghe in Mamaia last summer, after they installed the new roof. It looks much neater now, and the carpentry at the iconostasis has also changed. Do you know if Lucescu also helped with the painting or just with the structure?

I don't know for sure about the painting, but I heard that he also helped with the renovation of the iconostasis at Sfântul Gheorghe. It looks good now, especially with the new joinery. Have you been there since then?
