Patriarch Daniel, condolences on the death of Acad. Ionel Haiduc: A bright personality of Romanian science and culturetranslated

The Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel sent a message of condolences on Wednesday for the passing away of the academician Ionel Haiduc.

The Patriarch of Romania highlighted that "Ionel Haiduc devoted his life to the research and training of several generations of specialists, contributing in particular to the development of organometallic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry".

"Through the rigor of his research, through his vocation as a teacher and through his constant concern for affirming the values ​​of Romanian science and culture, academician Ionel Haiduc leaves future generations a rich intellectual legacy and an example of persevering service to knowledge".
