Patriarch of Jerusalem held a series of meetings

Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem received a series of visits on Monday, August 3, 2026, as he welcomed representatives of the Church and pilgrims at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

Patriarch Theophilos first received the Abbess of the Holy Monastery of Saint Panteleimon, Nun Charitini.

Subsequently, the Patriarch of Jerusalem received His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), accompanied by Bishop Job of Stuttgart and sixty pilgrims.

Afterwards, Patriarch Theophilos received the priest of the Cathedral of Saint James the Brother of the Lord, Fr. George (Hader) Baramki, as well as Mrs. Anna Koulouri, who had previously served at the Chief Secretariat.

It is interesting that Metropolitan Mark from ROCOR came with Bishop Job and a whole group of 60 pilgrims. It is good that Patriarch Theofilos welcomes everyone. But the abbess of the monastery of Saint Panteleimon, mother Kharitini, was also there - I hadn't heard anything about her for a long time.
