On 6 October 2026, Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theophilos, received Mr Nikolaos Mavroeidis, Consul at the Embassy of Greece in Tel Aviv, and his wife, Ms Anna Mantika, Consul at the Consulate General of Greece in Jerusalem, together with their young daughter, Christina, on the occasion of their retirement from service.

The Patriarch commended them for their excellent cooperation and their wholehearted support of the Patriarchate and, in recognition of their service, bestowed upon them the honorary distinction of the insignia of Cross-Bearer of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulchre.
