Patriarch of Georgia to preside over Divine Liturgy at Tbilisi’s Holy Trinity Cathedral
The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on 2 August at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Tbilisi by Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of All Georgia.
The Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00 a.m.
On the same day, the families who have received the Patriarch’s blessing will also gather at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Holy Trinity to celebrate the feast of the Prophet Elijah.
Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III of Georgia will proceed to the Patriarchal Church of Zion, where he will celebrate a sacred memorial service for the repose of the soul of the late Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of Georgia.
