Patriarch of Bulgaria: Knowledge must serve others and benefit society

Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria has extended his blessings and best wishes to university students and professors on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, emphasizing that knowledge should not be pursued as an end in itself but should serve humanity and contribute to the well-being of others.
In his message, the Bulgarian Patriarch wished students, academics and researchers good health, strength and inspiration in their educational and scientific endeavors.
He expressed hope that the new academic year would bring joy and satisfaction through the acquisition and transmission of knowledge, encouraging students and educators to ensure that their work produces meaningful benefits for society.
