Patriarch of Antioch receives British delegation in Damascus
Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East received a British delegation at the Patriarchal Residence in Damascus on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The delegation included Barry Peach, the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for Syria, and David Hunt, Head of the Syria Department at the British Foreign Office.
During the meeting, the Patriarch and the British officials discussed current affairs, with particular attention to the latest developments in Syria and the wider region.
