Brâncusi Parish in Bucharest organized a running race for children and young people from the communitytranslated

The Brâncusi Parish - Patriarchal Chapel in Sector 6 of the Capital organized the "Brâncusi Cross of Joy" on Saturday, dedicated to the children and young people of the community.
The sports event took place near the Church of the Protection of the Mother of God and brought together dozens of children, young people and families. The participants competed in three categories: prichindei, on a route of 200 meters, daring, on a distance of 900 meters, and the family category.
Registration for the races was based on a minimum donation of 20 lei, paid when picking up the competition number. The funds collected during the "Brâncuși Cross of Joy" will support the parish workshops dedicated to children, held every Sunday.
At the end, all participants received medals and prizes from the parish in the Brâncusi neighborhood. Throughout the six editions, the cross-country has gathered hundreds of children and families around the same cause: supporting the educational activities organized by the parish.
The parish "Saint John the Russian and the Protection of the Mother of God" also carries out other charitable and educational projects, through which it especially supports children in situations of social vulnerability.
