Romanian parents and children from Great Britain chose to spend six days in the Apuseni Mountainstranslated

More than 50 children, parents and volunteers from several parishes of the Archdiocese of Great Britain and Northern Ireland participated in an Orthodox summer camp organized in the Apuseni Mountains.

The camp was organized between July 18-24 by the Romanian Parish "Saint Andrew the Critean and Saints Doctors without Silver Cosma and Damian" in Ledbury, Great Britain. During the six days, the participants combined prayer, catechesis and recreational activities, living an experience of Christian fellowship and friendship in the middle of nature.

The program began with participation in the Holy Liturgy, followed by knowledge activities and a daily program built around spiritual, educational and recreational formation.

Children and young people participated in interactive catechesis dedicated to the prophets, liturgical life and the teaching of the Church, biblical studies and question and answer sessions on spiritual topics. They also took part in church singing, piano and guitar workshops, as well as religious themed movie nights.
