On September 29, 2026, the opening of a monument-bust to St. Luke of Crimea (Voino-Yasenetsky) took place in the village of Bolshaya Murta, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The opening of a monument to an outstanding surgeon and saint in a Siberian village is not accidental, because it was here that he operated while in exile in 1940-1941, reports the website of the Krasnoyarsk diocese.

The monument is erected opposite the building of the surgical building of the regional hospital, where the future saint-confessor operated.
At the grand opening of the sculpture, it was consecrated by Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk, temporary administrator of the Yenisei diocese.
The initiative to create the monument belongs to a public figure, lawyer, TV presenter of the Spas channel and writer Pavel Astakhov, who attended the ceremony, as well as patrons of the arts.
It is noted that in the future it is planned to arrange a square with benches, lanterns and flower beds on the territory adjacent to the monument.
