Pilgrims from four cities in the region celebrated the patronal feast of the church in the village of Syrostantranslated

The patronal celebration took place in the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross. Pilgrims from Chelyabinsk, Miass, Zlatoust and Chebarkul came to share the joy of prayer with local residents. The day before, the all-night vigil was led by the dean of the Miass Northern District, Hieromonk German (Chernyshev). On the day of the holiday, the Divine Liturgy was performed by the rector of the church, Priest Peter Ustinov. After the service, parishioners and pilgrims walked in a religious procession to Nikolskaya Mountain and back. During the procession, troparia to the Cross of the Lord and gospel passages about the suffering of Christ on the Cross were sung. On the way back, the religious procession passed through the local cemetery, where a funeral litany was held. Returning to the church, the believers took part in a festive prayer service. Congratulating those gathered, Father Peter noted that the parish unites people who may initially be strangers to each other, but who come to Christ and become close. The rector wished the community to preserve this joy of unity. The celebration ended with a general parish tea party.
