Pelegrinët e dioqezës Gomel vizituan faltoret e Polotskpërkthyer

Me bekimin e Imzot Stefanit, Kryepeshkopit të Gomelit dhe Zhlobinit, më 17–18 korrik, besimtarët e dioqezës së Gomelit bënë një pelegrinazh në Polotsk. Grupi drejtohej nga shefi i departamentit për zhvillimin e pelegrinazheve dhe sjelljen e faltoreve, prifti Andrei Kisel.

Në ditën e parë, pjesëmarrësit e udhëtimit vizituan Katedralen e Epifanisë dhe u njohën me historinë dhe faltoret e saj. Më pas pelegrinët vizituan Katedralen e Shën Sofisë dhe bënë një xhiro turistike në qendrën historike të Polotsk, gjatë së cilës mësuan për trashëgiminë shekullore të krishterë të qytetit.

Vendi kryesor i pelegrinazhit ishte manastiri stauropegjik Spaso-Euphrosinievsky. Në mbrëmje, pjesëmarrësit e udhëtimit u lutën gjatë shërbimit në manastir.

Më 18 korrik, pelegrinët morën pjesë në Liturgjinë Hyjnore dhe morën Misteret e Shenjta të Krishtit. Pas shërbesës, ata u bënë një vizitë në manastirin. Të ftuarit u njohën me historinë e kishave të manastirit, nderuan faltoret dhe mësuan për jetën monastike të Manastirit Spaso-Euphrosinievsky.

Nice to see Fr. Andrei Kisel leading the group again. The visit to the Spaso-Evfrosinievsky monastery on the second day sounds especially good — being able to pray at Liturgy, receive Communion and then walk around the grounds with a proper tour. Did they manage to venerate St. Euphrosyne’s relics while they were there?

Καλό που ο π. Ανδρέας Κισέλ ξαναοδήγησε την ομάδα. Το κομμάτι με τη Θεία Λειτουργία και τη Θεία Κοινωνία στο μοναστήρι της Ευφροσύνης μου φάνηκε το πιο ουσιαστικό. Πρόλαβαν να προσκυνήσουν και την αγία Ευφροσύνη;

Ναι, η Θεία Λειτουργία και η Κοινωνία στο μοναστήρι ήταν όντως το πιο ουσιαστικό, όπως λες. Δεν γράφει το άρθρο αν πρόλαβαν να προσκυνήσουν συγκεκριμένα την αγία Ευφροσύνη, αλλά από τις προηγούμενες επισκέψεις ξέρω ότι συνήθως την αφήνουν για το τέλος της ξενάγησης. Εσύ πώς το φαντάζεσαι αυτό το κομμάτι;

Yes, they did venerate St. Euphrosyne’s relics right after the tour of the monastery grounds. Fr. Andrei always makes sure there’s enough time for that; I remember him doing the same on the last Gomel trip to Polotsk. Did you ever get to stay for the evening service there yourself?

Yes, Fr. Andrei always builds in that extra time at the relics — good to hear it hasn't changed. I stayed for the evening service on my visit two years back; the acoustics in the old church there made the singing feel especially close. Have you been back since that last Gomel group trip?

Ναι, η Λειτουργία και η Κοινωνία δίνουν νόημα σε όλη την εκδρομή. Από ό,τι ξέρω, μετά την περιήγηση στους ναούς συνήθως τους οδηγούν κατευθείαν στο σημείο όπου φυλάσσονται τα λείψανα της αγίας Ευφροσύνης, για να προσκυνήσουν ήσυχα. Εσύ πότε πήγες τελευταία φορά;
