Pilgrims of the Catherine Cathedral in Murino visited the shrines of Tikhvintranslated

On October 17, parishioners of the Cathedral of the Holy Great Martyr Catherine in Murino made a pilgrimage to Tikhvin, where they visited the Tikhvin Mother of God Assumption and Vvedensky convents.
The trip was accompanied by the clergyman of the Catherine Cathedral, Protodeacon Peter Stukal.
The central event of the pilgrimage was participation in the Divine Liturgy and communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. The pilgrims also got acquainted with the history of ancient monasteries and their shrines.
During the trip, Protodeacon Peter Stukal talked with the participants, shared spiritual instructions and read poetry. Warm autumn weather allowed guests to enjoy the beauty of Tikhvin and its monasteries.
The trip took place on the initiative of the parish with the support of the rector of the cathedral, Priest Vasily. Volunteers from the parish association “Good Palms” took part in its organization.
