Pilgrimage of parishioners of the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Nizhnyaya Tura to Diveevotranslated

July 30, 2026 · 1 min read

Parishioners of the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the city of Nizhnyaya Tura made a pilgrimage to holy places in Diveevo - one of the spiritual centers of the Russian Orthodox Church.

During the trip, the participants visited the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent. The pilgrims prayed with reverence at the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, as well as at shrines associated with other holy saints of God. Participation in monastery services was of particular importance for believers - joint prayer united the trip participants and filled their hearts with spiritual joy.

An important part of the pilgrimage was visiting holy springs. The parishioners collected holy water, drawing strength and consolation from these quiet, prayerful places.

The trip became a real spiritual strengthening for the pilgrims. By coming into contact with shrines, believers felt the grace of God more deeply and strengthened in their faith. Such trips help not only to learn more about Orthodox traditions and the history of the Church, but also to take a fresh look at one’s own spiritual life.
