Pilgrimage to the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimifuntsky: spiritual joy of the parishioners of Nizhnyaya Turatranslated

The pilgrimage to the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimifuntsky became a bright and significant event in the life of believers of two parishes in the city of Nizhnyaya Tura - the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and the Church of the Three Saints.

A total of 35 people took part in the trip. Arriving in Yekaterinburg, the pilgrims witnessed a large crowd of people: the line at the Church on the Blood stretched for a considerable distance and made a deep impression on everyone.

Thanks to the prayerful efforts of the rector, Priest Sergius Klivekin, who served at the holy relics these days, the group from Nizhnyaya Tura was able to venerate the shrine without long waits. After this, the pilgrims kneeled and read the akathist to St. Spyridon.

The bringing of the right hand of Saint Spyridon to Russia is an event of special spiritual significance. The saint, who lived more than 1,700 years ago, is known as a healer and miracle worker, a patron of family life, and an intercessor in financial and housing matters.
