Applications are now open for the “Seraphim Teacher 2027” competitiontranslated

The Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Simbirsk Diocese invites teachers who work effectively in the field of spiritual and moral education to take part in the pedagogical competition “Seraphim’s Teacher”. The competition is held by the charitable foundation of St. Seraphim of Sarov with the support of the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District.

The competition accepts the development of thematic sections on Orthodox culture for teaching humanitarian subjects and subject areas (history, social studies, languages, literature, art), as well as programs of spiritual and moral education, including lesson plans, lectures, classes, class hours, scenarios for cultural, educational, sports and other events, indicating the didactic means and diagnostic tools used.

An application for participation in the competition must be filled out on the website www. competitions.seraphim.rf (section “Seraphim’s teacher”) from November 2, 2026 to April 1, 2027. Applications received by the competition committee after the deadline for accepting applications will not be allowed to participate.
