The Department of Religious Education of the Elista Diocese awarded a student volunteer with a prize | Elista and Kalmyk diocesetranslated

On June 10, 2026, a solemn ceremony for awarding personal scholarships was held at the Kalmyk branch of the Russian State University “SotsTech”. By decision of the student government and teaching staff, the 12 best students were awarded financial incentives. The awards were presented for success in educational, social and creative activities, as well as for high sporting achievements based on the results of the 2025–2026 academic year. Personalized scholarships were established by prominent public and religious figures of the Republic of Kalmykia and other regions. The founders personally congratulated the young people on their high results and noted their contribution to the development of the university and the republic. Scholarships from the Department of Religious Education of the Elista Diocese were presented by the priest of the Kazan Cathedral, Archpriest Anthony Zimovets. The award was awarded to a student volunteer for excellent studies and active participation in spiritual, educational and social projects of the diocese.
