The dean of the Khibinogorsk district, priest Alexy Shipitka, and the dean of the Apatity district of the Murmansk diocese, priest John Danilets, consecrated the Apatity air terminal complex “Khibiny” and its service equipment. The event marked the completion of the reconstruction phase of the airport terminal, the diocese reports. The consecration was attended by the director of the airport A.V. Popov and the staff of the enterprise.

The Khibiny Mountains are the highest mountains in the European Arctic of Russia. There is a national park with an area of ​​over 84 thousand hectares.
