Features of the iconography of Sophia of the Wisdom of God from the Novgorod version in the new issue of Kerygma-TVtranslated

As part of the spiritual and educational work of the educational portal “Kerygma-TV”, another video dedicated to Christian art was released. The new issue examines the features of the iconography of Sophia the Wisdom of God from the Novgorod version. The author and presenter of the material was Elena Vladimirovna Deeva, candidate of philosophical sciences, associate professor of the Samara Theological Seminary and ancient guardian of the Samara diocese. The presented video examines in detail the theological meanings, symbolism and distinctive features of the Novgorod iconographic version in comparison with other traditions, as well as the historical aspects of the formation of this image.
