The Romanian National Opera in Iasi has joined the Opera Europa organization, the most important professional network of opera theaters and opera festivals on the continent. The affiliation gives the institution access to international projects, experience exchanges and new opportunities for collaboration with some of the most prestigious European lyrical scenes.

According to the manager of the Romanian National Opera in Iasi, Andrei Fermeșanu, Opera Europa brings together approximately 250 theaters and festivals from around the world and facilitates collaboration between member institutions through co-productions, training programs and exchanges of best practices.

One of the main advantages of membership is the possibility of international co-productions, in which several theaters contribute to the realization of the same show, which is later presented on the stages of the partner institutions.

The manager of the Iași Opera House explained that such a model allows the realization of high-level artistic productions and facilitates the public's access to performances developed in collaboration with prestigious opera institutions in Europe.
