Officially opened to the “Sveta Gora in Sofia” exittranslated

On the 17th of October (Saturday) from 18:00 at the National Palace at the Kulturata we will hold an official opening on the presentation “Sveta Gora in Sofia”, with the participation of Negovo His Highness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartolomew and Negovo His Highness the Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil.

The exhibition includes 50 paintings from the Aton na Gratskaya artist Makis Varlamis (1942–2016) and photographs on monasteries from the collection of the Svetogorsk Photo Library. The exhibition is under the words “Sveta Gora in Sofia” and is organized by the Experimental Worker “Vergina”, with the blessing of His Highness the Metropolitan of Sofia and the Bulgarian Patriarch Daniel.

"The main goal is to lay out the food and remember for the peaceful meat and for the beginnings on the stomach, which has existed for many centuries in the Orthodox manastiri, and especially on Sveta Gora. Negovite roots of the idvat from the philosophical school of antiquity, formed through the Orthodox Christian tradition, and representing the consumed “In this time, “skill” for aiming, labor and bringing divine greatness closer to us,” the organizers will share.

Until the moment of collection, the painting was presented in Georgia (Museum of Byzantine Culture - Solun 2008, National Christian Museum in Atina 2010, Basilica of Saints...
