Pilgrims from Volkovysk visited the Church of St. Cyril of Turov in Zhabinka

On July 16, 2026, pupils of the Sunday religious school (class with special physical development “Uncovering pearls”) of the parish of Saints Methodius and Cyril, teachers of the Slovenian city of Volkovysk, Grodno region, with the rector of the temple, dean of the churches of the Volkovysk district, priest Alexander Yuzva, teachers and parents visited the Church of St. Cyril of Turov in the city of Zhabinka. The rector of the church, the dean of the churches of the Zhabinka district, Archpriest Sergiy Petrusevich, introduced visitors to the history of the city of Zhabinka, the confessional situation and the construction of the main church of the city. A prayer was also read to St. Cyril of Turov for help to children and parents. Next, the guests visited the building of the Spiritual and Educational Center on the territory of the temple. At the end of the meeting, the clergyman presented icons of the temple’s patron with a memorial inscription about the consecration of the temple on July 21, 2025.
