Review of events of the Brest district deanerytranslated
July 12, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the glorious and all-validated supreme apostles Peter and Paul, the rector of the parish of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village. Malye Shchitniki, Brest region, Archpriest Georgy Baranovsky performed the rite of consecration of the newly built cross in the village of Kustyn. Previously, in this village there was a church consecrated in honor of the supreme apostles Peter and Paul, so the village residents still revere them as their heavenly patrons.
More than 50 people attended the consecration.
On July 1, 2026, the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Luke the Apostle in the town of Domachevo, Brest region, Priest Dimitry Karatay, visited the agricultural enterprise OJSC Dubravushka-Agro. At the request of the work collective, the priest consecrated the granary in the village of Borisy, offered a prayer for a speedy and successful harvest, and addressed those gathered with pastoral instructions.
In his speech, Father Dimitry Karatay called on grain growers to work hard with hope in God’s help and wished that every ear of grain grown would be harvested without loss. The priest also asked the Lord to grant all workers the strength of physical and spiritual strength, sunny weather and the successful completion of the suffering.
