Address by Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospasskytranslated

Dear brothers and sisters!

Today, September 25, there was a massive attack on Ulyanovsk by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Simbirsk diocese, I personally pray with sincere compassion for the health of the victims, for God’s help to everyone who is eliminating the consequences of the enemy raid on our city. This attack is an act of terror against civilians, carried out with the aim of intimidating and dividing our people.

The regional authorities are doing everything possible for those affected by the disaster. In turn, the clergy and volunteers of the Simbirsk diocese provide the necessary support to the victims.

May the Lord strengthen us all in trials and may He give His immediate, irresistible help and victory to the defenders of our Fatherland!
