About the Commandments of God and service to the Fatherland: a conversation with a priest at the Avangard centertranslated

On October 16, at the Avangard educational and methodological center for military-patriotic education named after Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov, a meeting was held between the cleric of the Resurrection-German Church, Abbot Seraphim (Lyakhov), and the students of the center, tenth grade students.

The priest told the children about the Commandments of God, the need for respect for elders, the freedom of choice of a person and responsibility for one’s actions. Father Seraphim touched on the topics of obedience to parents and commanders, love for the Motherland and service to the Fatherland using the example of the military feat of his great-grandfathers.

At the end of the meeting, Father Seraphim answered questions from the students.
