Am citit că la festivalul „Кампанъ” au venit clopotari din mai multe eparhii și au cântat împreună la clopote vechi. Mă întreb dacă au folosit și clopotele de la mănăstirile din jurul Moscovei, că mi-ar fi plăcut să aud sunetul lor adevărat, nu doar înregistrat.
Our parish bell-ringer, old man Pavel, was telling me the other day that the big “Кампанъ” festival really did bring in ringers from all over, and they used the ancient set from the Trinity Lavra near Moscow. He said the low bass bell there hits you right in the chest when it swings. Wish I could have stood there and heard it live instead of on a phone recording.
