A parish in Făgăraș organized the first camp dedicated to families: Sharing with others through communiontranslated

"St. Nicolae" Parish - Brâncoveanu from Făgăraș municipality, Brașov county, organized the first camp dedicated to families from the community, with the aim of "sharing with others through communion".
The ten participating families took part from July 20-23 in a varied program that included knowledge games, workshops, hikes, sports activities, bonfires, talent evenings and moments of prayer.
A special moment of the camp was the parenting workshop dedicated to digital addictions, coordinated by Dan Alexandru Florea from the Paltin Parish in Șinca Nouă commune, Brașov county, as well as the communication workshop "Supporting mothers". The program also included the "Family Olympics", a competition held in the spirit of collaboration and team play.
A challenge Priest Ioan Paroș explained that the organization of the camp represented a first for the community.
"The family camp was a challenge for us as organizers, being the first camp in which adults participated. At the same time, we felt the need to organize it to create a context conducive to the relationship with the families of our parish community."
