An exhibition dedicated to Nadia Comăneca will be opened at the Palace of Culture in Iasitranslated
The exhibition "Nadia. Perfection has a story" will be opened on August 5 at the Palace of Culture in Iasi.
According to a press release sent by the "Moldova" National Museum Complex in Iasi, the exhibition is organized by the Agerpres National Press Agency and marks the 50th anniversary of Nadia Comăneci's first grade of 10 in the history of the Olympic Games.
The opening will take place from 16:00, in the Hall of the "Ștefan Procopiu" Museum of Science and Technology, in the presence of the general director of Agerpres, Claudia-Victoria Nicolae.
The exhibition brings together a selection of documentary photos that illustrate the great gymnast's exceptional career and brings back to the public's attention one of the most important moments in the history of Romanian sports.
According to the organizers, the exhibition can be visited between August 5 and September 5.
The event is part of the program of the 17th edition of the Serile Filmului Românesc (SFR) Festival, held in Iasi from August 5-9, under the theme "Therapy".
