An exhibition of icons and portraits will be opened at the National Military Circletranslated

The painting exhibition "Faces and Light" will be opened on August 24 at the Sala Ronda of the National Military Circle in Bucharest.
The event will take place from 18:00 and will be presented by the church painter Daniel Codrescu, the coordinator of the painting works at the National Cathedral, and the writer Daniel Sur.
The exhibited works belong to the sisters Maria and Ana Maria Margine and bring together icons, faces of saints and portraits made in a realistic manner. The nun Maria Margine explained to Basilica.ro that the exhibition starts from the desire to put art at the service of confession of faith.
"I proposed in the exhibition that is to take place to exhibit icons, as well as realistically realized faces of saints in order to bring glory to the saints and through them to God."
