That's a nice idea. In the kitchen at the rectory, we also sometimes talk with young people about how we help in the community, and they then draw or write something about their experiences. I wonder if they will also share recipes or songs from those stories.

Very nice project. In our home in Prilep, in religion classes, children often tell how a grandmother from the neighborhood helped them or how they sang together on a church holiday, and then they draw or write. I wonder if they will also receive Macedonian stories or only from Latin America.

In our parish in Belgrade, after the summer work activities, the children always draw or write what they did with the grandmothers from the neighborhood. It is interesting to me whether they will also receive our stories from Serbia, or only those from Latin America.

Our parish in Pittsburgh does something similar with the teens after the summer food drive — they talk about helping the older folks in the neighborhood and then draw or write little stories about it. I wonder if the project will accept stories from here in the States too, not just Latin America.

Here in Vinnytsia, after the fair for the elderly, young people also often draw or write what they did together with their grandmothers from the parish. I wonder if they will also accept our Ukrainian stories, or only from Latin America.

Here in Podgorica, after the action in the Ostrog monastery, children also take pictures of their impressions with grandparents from the area. I think they will also receive our stories, the project is called "Nuestra Raíces" but the theme is solidarity in the community, and we have that everywhere. Have you tried sending them one of those children's works from Belgrade?

Our parish here in Dallas did a version of that last year after the backpack drive—our teens wrote short pieces about delivering the bags to the refugee families down the block and how the kids lit up. I bet Nuestras Raíces would welcome stories from Pittsburgh; the network has folks all over the U.S. Have you thought about sending them a couple of those drawings?

Yes, that's right, solidarity is the same everywhere, be it in Podgorica or Belgrade. I haven't sent their works yet, but now I will ask the sister from the parish to collect some pictures with Ostrog and send them. Have you seen if they have already put some stories from the Balkans on the site?
