New spiritual priests in the Archdiocese of Craiovatranslated

On Friday, October 16, 2026, in the Chapel of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Craiova dedicated to the "Saints Three Hierarchs" and "Saints Sergius and Vah", the Most Reverend Father Dr. Irineu, the Archbishop of Craiova and the Metropolitan of Oltenia, performed the priestly ordination service for three priests from the Archdiocese of Craiova. The following priests received the priesthood: Radu-Andrei Făiniși, from the parish of St. Ioan Hera - Craiova, Protoieria Craiova Sud, Daniel-Nicolae Popescu, from the parish of Popoveni, Protoieria Craiova Sud, Angel-Cristian Stăiculescu, from the Parish "Holy Trinity" - Craiova.

The commission for examining candidates for the priesthood was led by Prof. Conf. Univ. Dr. Adrian Ivan, Dean of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Craiova, and Rev. Cătălin Țăruș, Ecclesiarch of the "St. M. Mc. Dimitrie" Metropolitan Cathedral in Craiova.
