Corfu Nektarios: "Today, the lie is launched"translated

On September 23 and 24, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, went to the island of Kythera, following the invitation of the relevant Pastor, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kythera and Antikythera, Mr. Seraphim, in order to take part in the festive devotional events on the festival of the Holy Monastery of Panagia Most Holy Theotokos Myrtidiotissa. His Eminence's visit had a pilgrimage character at the same time, as he has a special reverence for the face of the Most Holy Theotokos and especially for Panagia Myrtidiotissa.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 23, His Eminence concelebrated at the solemn High Priestly Vespers, which was presided over by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epifanios.

On the main day of the feast, Thursday, September 24, Mr. Nektarios presided over the solemn Triarchate Divine Liturgy and preached the divine word.
