The feast of Saint Neomartyros Chrysis at the Vella Schooltranslated

The sacred memory of Saint Neomartyros Chrysis, who came from the village of Chrysi in Aridaia, was honored at the Vella Clerical Candidate Apprenticeship School with ecclesiastical splendor and rejoicing, and recently her remains were found and certified by special laboratories in Germany at the request of the Holy Metropolis of Edessa, Pelli, and Almopia. On the eve of the feast, the Solemn Vespers was celebrated, officiated by Professor Fr. Apostolos Munich. The Headmaster, as well as the seminarians of the School, attended the holy service, participating prayerfully in the honor of the Saint.
On the day of the holiday, the Solemn Divine Liturgy was celebrated, officiated by the Schoolmaster, Fr. Thomas Andreou, with the participation of the first-year seminarian, deacon Fr. Paisios. In the lectern, a dance of the students of the School was held, contributing with reverence and ecclesiastical ethos to the overwhelming atmosphere of the day.
The Divine Liturgy was attended by the students and professors of the School, together honoring the memory of the Saint and deriving spiritual strength from the bright example of her faith and testimony.
May the Holy Great Martyr Chrysi intercede for all and...
