Triarchial Vespers in Aigna for the collection of the relics of Agios Nektariostranslated

On the evening of Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the Great Triarchate Vespers was celebrated with splendor in the huge Holy Church of Agios Nektarios of Aegina on the feast of the collection of His Holy Relics. The Most Reverend Bishop of Skiathos Mr. Ioannis, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod, officiated and gave an inspiring speech. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Sisanio and Siatistis Mr. Athanasios and the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Hydra, Spetses and Aegina Mr. Ephraim were concelebrating, while fathers from many Holy Metropolises and from abroad participated.

It should be noted that the Reverend Mr. Ephraim in his homily welcomed the Holy High Priests and emphasized the catalytic presence of Saint Nektarios in the whole world.

A multi-member choir sang under the direction of Panosiol. Chief Father Augustino Zisimos, Preacher. The authorities of the Island and a large number of believers were present, while the Holy Vigil followed.
