Question to the Parliament on the equal salary treatment of senior clergy ordained in Greece but serving abroadtranslated

The need to ensure the equal salary treatment of the superior who has been ordained in our country but serves in Orthodox communities abroad is requested by the Hellenic Solution in its timely question to the Parliament. Specifically, addressing the Minister of Education, Religion and Sports, Sofia Zacharakis and the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, the Member of Parliament for the B2 Western Sector of Athens, Maria Athanasiou, requests to be informed why the High Priests, who were ordained in Greece, but serve in Orthodox communities abroad, were exempted from the increases of the salaries established by law 5313/2026.
The question also extends to the intention to undertake the necessary corrective legislative initiatives, so as to ensure the equal salary treatment established by law 5313/2026 and to the corresponding High Priests mentioned above, who act ecclesiastically in Orthodox communities abroad.
