Pastoral visit of the Metropolitan of Samos to Fournos Corseon and Ikariatranslated

From Sunday 12 to Saturday 18 July 2026, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Samos, Mr. Eusebius, made a pastoral visit to Fournos Corseon and Ikaria, on the occasion of the feast of the Holy Glorious Martyrs Kirikos and Iulitis, as well as the events for the 114th anniversary of the Liberation of Ikaria. On Sunday, July 12, His Eminence presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos in Fourni, while in the afternoon he officiated at Vespers in the Holy Church of Zoodochos Pigis Chrysomilia in Fourni.

On Monday, July 13, he went to Thymaina, where he prayed in the Holy Parish Church of Agios Georgios and had the pleasure of meeting the few inhabitants of the uninhabited island.

On Tuesday, July 14, he officiated at the Solemn Vespers of the feast of Saints Kirikos and Juliet in the Holy Church of the same name in the city of Agios Kirikos, Ikaria, and presided over the Holy Litany of the holy Icon of the Holy Glorious Martyrs, as well as the holy relics of the Saints, throughout the city of Agios Kirikos.
