2.8 million euros were collected by the charity platform of the Moscow Patriarchatetranslated

The online donation platform "Pomozhem" of the Russian Orthodox Church has completed three years of operation, through which a total of approximately 2.84 million euros have been collected to support charitable and social actions. Thanks to these amounts, it became possible to support social programs of the Church in 87 provinces (dioceses) of Russia, as well as abroad. Amounts have been converted to Euros based on a recent exchange rate of approximately 1 Euro = 89 Rubles.

The president of the Synodal Department of Social Welfare and Welfare, archpriest Mikhail Potokin, underlined that the platform has developed into an important tool for the development of the Church's social work in the regions.

"The "Pomozhem" platform is now an essential means of strengthening the church's social ministry in the local provinces. Through it both large organizations and small local charitable initiatives can receive support.
