In Kerasia the "Health Workers of Love" of Dimitrias Diocesetranslated

Free preventive medical examinations were carried out on Wednesday, October 14, for the residents of Kerasia by the "Health Workers of Love" of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias and Almyros with the cooperation of the Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association of Magnesia and the "Help at Home" service of the Municipality of Riga Feraios. It was the second excursion organized in the region of Magnesia by the "Health Workers of Love" who are part of the Informal Network of Health Agencies of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias and Almyros and are active for the fourth consecutive year with the main objective of practical solidarity and the provision of health care to rural residents who are often unable to have direct access to health facilities.

In Kerasia, dozens of doctors of various specialties were found with medical equipment and a mobile unit that shows the level of organization of the voluntary action.

Due to the large participation of the residents, the exams were held in three different parts of the village, in the Community building, the Primary school, and for the first time in the Holy Church.
