The Ambassador of Greece to Germany at the Priestly Conferencetranslated

The Ambassador of Greece to Germany, Mr. Alexandros Papaioannou, delivered a greeting at the opening of the Priestly Conference of the Holy Metropolis of Germany, in the presence of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Germany Mr. Augustinos, the Theophilist Bishops and the Holy Clergy of the Holy Metropolis of Germany.

The Greek Ambassador, during his speech, expressed his appreciation to His Excellency for his many years of service and the special recognition he enjoys from the German state.

At the same time, he referred to the difficult situation that Germany and, by extension, Europe is facing today, stressing that Greece has a special reason to be interested and contribute to dealing with it.

He underlined that Greece, having recently overcome a very serious economic, political and social crisis, can transfer its experience and contribute to shaping a better common European future

After the end of the Conference, Mr. Ambassador hosted a dinner at the premises of the Greek Embassy in Berlin in honor of the participants.
