Maximos Charakopoulos' congratulations to elected Greek-Americans in Congresstranslated

The Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (DSO), Member of the Parliament of the Hellenes, Dr. Maximos Charakopoulos, sent a congratulatory letter to those of Greek origin elected to the American Congress during the recent midterm elections. "On behalf of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy, I warmly congratulate you on your solemn election, during the recent mid-term elections in the USA, and I wish you success in your critical mission, for the benefit of the well-being of the American people, but also for global stability and peace", he emphasizes, among other things.

Maximos Charakopoulos in his letter points out "the satisfaction we feel as Greeks for the success of our compatriots, descendants of immigrants from Greece, who enjoy this wide social recognition in the most important Republic of the modern world, occupying distinguished institutional positions.

As DSO, an institution that includes representatives of the parliaments of 25 states, we look forward to continuing and deepening our cooperation with the members of the American Congress who are of Greek-American origin.
