"Flash of Lightning": Grand Concert in Honor of the Arcadian Benefaction in Rethymnotranslated

In the first part of the concert, the Choir of Psalts "Cretan Masters," under the direction of Chorarchos Fr. Antonios Plaitis, Archon Hymnodou of the Great Church of Christ, performed hymns specially dedicated to the Martyrs and Heroes of Arcadia, which were composed by Fr. Demetrios Papae-Manuel Daskalakis, philologist, inspired by the style and form of the ecclesiastical Byzantine tradition. In the second part, the Choral and Orchestra of Traditional and Byzantine Music "Paul Blassios," under the direction of Chorarchos Fr. Antonios Michailoudes, Theologian and Protopsalt, performed hymns dedicated to Arcadia and the Arcadian Benefaction.
