Today, October 11, 2026, Sunday 4th of Luke, called the Sower, from the Parable of the Holy Gospel of the same name, Rev. Our Metropolitan, Mr. Chrysostomos, officiated the month of October and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Church of the Holy Forerunner of Symi, with his co-celebrants, Aedesim. Priest Protopr. Stefanos Makri, General Hierarchal Commissioner and Elav. Hierodeacon Paul Terezakis, while the the Protopsaltis of the Church, Mr. Demosthenes Giannaras, after the son of Mr. Merkourios, and Mr. Eleftherios Xirakis officiated in a similar manner.

His Eminence, as an active Deacon of the divine word, analyzed the read gospel passage, speaking thoroughly about the homonymous parable that the Lord told His Disciples and even interpreting it precisely, to point out the responsibility of each one of us towards the word of God.
