With the participation of a large number of believers, the presence of representatives of the Armed Forces, political life and local authorities, and with the participation of three Metropolitans, the festivities for the great Despotic feast of the Transfiguration of the Savior culminated today in the Holy Metropolitan Church of Kalamaria.

The solemn Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Metropolitan of Capitoliad, Mr. Hesychios, of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, invited by the Metropolitan of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, Mr. Ioustinou.
The Metropolitan of Naissos, Mr. Arsenios, of the Patriarchate of Serbia, and the relevant Metropolitan, Mr. Iustinos, collaborated.
The Metropolitan of Velestino, Mr. Damaskinos, and the Metropolitan of Vryoulon, Mr. Panteleimon, attended the holy pulpit.
The High Priests were flanked by clerics from the Holy Metropolis of Nea Krini and Kalamaria, as well as priests and deacons from the wider area of Thessaloniki.
