The program includes official meetings and speeches, the performance of holy services in front of Christian shrines and a liturgy by the two Primates on Sunday, September 27, the day on which the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is celebrated according to the old calendar.

It is recalled that this will be the second peaceful visit of the Primate of the Orthodox Church in Bulgaria to another sister Church as it was preceded last December by the visit to the Seventh Center of the Protothrone Church in Fanari, the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
