Meeting of the clergy of Ghanatranslated

At the invitation of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Accra, Mr. Daniel, a priestly Synod of clergy serving in the Parishes of Ghana was held. During the meeting, important pastoral, spiritual, administrative and organizational issues concerning the life and functioning of the Parishes were discussed.

In a climate of brotherly love, unity and cooperation, a fruitful and meaningful dialogue was held, with the active participation of all the clergy, while important decisions were taken to strengthen the pastoral and missionary work and the further progress of Orthodoxy in Ghana.

Particularly moving was the common wish of the clergy that His Holiness convey the deep respect, filial love and devotion of all to the Mother Church of Alexandria and the Spiritual Father of Africa, A.Th.M. the Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa etc. Theodore II.

With faith, unity and devotion to the Patriarchate of Alexandria, the witness of Orthodoxy in Ghana continues.
